Culture and Traditions

The city's rich history contributes to its vibrant culture. The Inner City, also known as the Forbidden City, once served as the residence for emperors, accessible only to the privileged few. The presence of numerous hutongs, traditional Chinese houses with courtyards, adds an ethnic charm to the city. Alongside these, modern skyscrapers have emerged, marking the city's evolution and modernization.

The warm and hospitable demeanor of the people in Beijing distinguishes them. The city proudly preserves some of the finest Chinese traditions, with the tea ceremony being a prime example. Visitors are graciously welcomed and treated with courtesy.
